Guitar Tip: How To Grip a Guitar Pick Like Carlos Santana

Gripping a Guitar Pick Correctly. Like holding a guitar, there is no right or correct way to grip a guitar pick. Most players simply hold the pick between the thumb and first finger of their right hand, or the left hand if they are a left handed player. However, I have observed the grip of one of the great players of our time (read Carlos Santana) and I noticed that he will grip his pick with the thumb, first and second finger of his right hand.
