While
there are a wide variety of rack-mount effects processors available on the market
today – and many of them are excellent – most of the stars that we see
on MTV, the Tonight Show, etc. do not use them. They use pedals in a chain before
the amp instead. Why? Because now we live in an age where vintage is cool (and
for a reason – it seems that all the great stuff was made back in the day)
and while it used to be it was the vintage amps that were coveted, now it’s
the vintage stomp-boxes. Go to your closet and dust off your Big Muff, your Memory
Man. If you sold them off long ago, you can go to Harmony-Central gear for sale
