The
one thing that everybody forgets to bring – not just us guitar players – everybody
is a Penlight flashlight. Remember, it doesn’t have to be completely dark to need
a flashlight. Shadows can pose as much of a problem as darkness when trying to
locate a small nut that just fell. Looking inside the back of your amp mandates
a flashlight, no matter how much ambient light you have. Oh – bring spare batteries
for the flashlight. Nothing is worse than responding to the frantic scream “I
need a flashlight!” with a smug smile, only to be turned into a look if extreme
embarrassment when the band-mate you just saved turns to you and says “So, Genius.
Got a battery for this?!”
